Radical Authenticity - the path of self-discovery
Host: Jess Hunt
This talk is for anyone who finds themselves in the same problematic situations time and time again, and is ready to begin shifting towards thinking, feeling and doing better.
We will transition from the victim narrative of "why does this keep happening to me?" to the hero narrative of "I know exactly what to do for my highest good!".
The talk will be in three parts: Explore, Educate and Exercise
-
Explore
Drawing from Jess's own story of self-discovery and how she came to walk this path. This includes her journey with PTSD (as a result of abuse) and how fear has become her biggest teacher for self-discovery.
Outside of Jess's personal experiences, her Masters level education in Humanities and people management, her career as a creative storyteller, and also the choice to run wellness groups for the community for a number of years - have all provided her with deep insights towards the power of living authentically and becoming the Hero of your own journey.
Educate
Sharing the research, a collection of both scientific and spiritual teachings that demonstrate why Radical Authenticity is the key to being in alignment and owning your place in the Universe.
Topics include: Trauma, triggers, raising your frequency, narratives and beliefs, manifesting, curiosity and play, courage and fear, references to other teachings including NLP, spirituality and more.
Exercise
An activity either for individual volunteers or for the whole group, where we identify an issue and it’s pattern, we will look at what role we play in the pattern - so what our realm of control is.
Some example questions:
Think: What are the narratives that play out? What do you think and say? etc
Feel: Explore and identify the feeling? What is your physicality like when you feel like this? Where in the body do you feel this? Etc
Do: What action do or don’t you take as a result of how you think and feel?
Once this is all brought to light, we will explore what ‘human need’ is currently being met when we choose this cycle?… and what higher ‘need’ can not be met until we face what we are avoiding.
Once we have shone the light on what it is we are avoiding, we can begin to be empowered to re-write and re-define what we want to think, feel and do so that we can summon the courage to align, expand and take action for a new outcome.
Allowing people to walk away with a condensed and empowering practical activity, that they can apply to any area of their life where they are done feeling stuck and are ready for growth.

Winning Whilst Having a Social Life
Chris Robey - Stuck To Striving Coaching
“Results, or a social life?” - that often seems to be the battle, doesn’t it?
We either fully commit and lean in so we can achieve great results and feel amazing for it, or, we sacrifice our health and fitness so we can enjoy socialising with friends and family.
This tug of war between the 2 can bring about a lot of stress and frustration, a lot of yo-yoing with our results…
But what if I told you, you could have both?
What if I told you, you really could have your cake and eat it, without worrying?
What if I told you, that you could get in the best shape of your life whilst still enjoying all the foods and drinks that you love? Without needing to cut things out or over restrict?
You’d think it would be too good to be true, but it’s not!
